As I type this I lay in an oversized hotel bed, the bedding soft and white. My girls still sleep soundly, one on a pull out bed, the other in a portable crib. Tony is out for a run on the streets of London, exploring another country by foot. In only minutes the busyness of family travel will begin again.
This morning we board our last flight for home. The excitement I feel brewing inside is about to bubble over! Family members are counting down the hours until we land on US soil. We are as well. The girls, my little world travelers, are handling the new experiences with the same joyful nervousness I have felt during many legs of this journey. They are so brave, so funny, so strong. Life seems so fresh, so exciting through their eyes. These little ladies are a wonderful reminder that the world is a very special place. What an adventure, this thing called life.
